Jessica Lynn Stewart
Jessica L. Stewart is an experienced litigator of divorce and paternity litigation involving issues such as child custody and support, alimony, domestic violence injunctions, asset and liability distribution, and child relocation.
Jessica spent her formative years in Mobile, Alabama, where she developed a passion for various aspects of dance, including competitive dance. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi and graduated magna cum laude from Auburn University in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in political science and a minor in psychology. The skills that she acquired dancing earned her a scholarship and a position on the Dixie Darlings dance team while she attended the University of Southern Mississippi. Jessica was also a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society while attending Auburn University.
After graduating from Auburn University, she continued her education at Mississippi College School of Law, where she obtained her law degree. While attending law school, she received the Best Paper Award on two occasions.
Jessica joined The Reed Law Office in March 2014, and her practice focuses primarily on divorce and family law matters. Her background also brings a wealth of efficiencies to our legal team. Jessica's experience in family law, the discovery process, trial preparation, drafting pleadings and assisting with other aspects of the litigation process, is invaluable to the firm's success. She also routinely writes a legal column for the Lynn Haven Ledger in order to share important legal information with the community.
Prior to joining The Reed Law Office, Ms. Stewart practiced family law in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton and Leon Counties in Florida with another firm. Her familiarity and span of knowledge in these surrounding counties is invaluable to her clients.
As part of The Reed Law Office legal team, her determination and creative strategies are truly comprehensive to deliver the best possible outcome for every client Jessica is also an involved and dedicated member of the Walton and Bay County communities and networks with several young professional groups. Jessica is also a member of the Bay County Bar Association, Bay County Women Lawyers Association, St Andrews Bay Inn of Court, Florida Bar Young Lawyer Division, the trial lawyers section of the Florida bar and family law section of the Florida bar. She is a dependable problem-solver who is result-driven and zealously represents her clients in and out of the courtroom. She spends her spare time with her husband and her dog. Jessica enjoys running, traveling and enjoying the beautiful beaches.
