Elizabeth A. Stein
Elizabeth A. Stein is a native of north Florida and is an extremely competent, aggressive and compassionate attorney committed to making a difference in the lives of her clients. She graduated from Florida State University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in political science. Elizabeth’s efforts prior to college earned her a full Bright Futures scholarship each year that she attended Florida State University. After graduating from Florida State University, she continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she obtained her law degree. While attending law school, Elizabeth’s proficient litigation and negotiation skills afforded her the opportunity to be certified by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania to represent clients in cases involving custody, support, paternity and other miscellaneous family law matters in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While attending law school, Elizabeth was also a member of the Pitt Law Women’s Association.
Elizabeth’s exceptional law school performance also enabled her to clerk for Judge Charles J. Kahn with the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida in Pensacola, Florida, where she worked primarily with appellate cases involving Social Security disability issues. Before joining The Reed Law Office, she practiced law at Legal Services of North Florida in Fort Walton Beach, working with clients in the area of family law.
Elizabeth currently cochairs the Bay County Pro Bono Clinic that fights for the legal rights of individuals and families who are less fortunate, and she also spends hours volunteering at the Bay County Bar Association’s First Saturday Legal Clinic. Elizabeth is also a member of the Bay County Bar Association, Bay County Women Lawyers Association, St. Andrews Bay Inn of Court and family law section of the Florida bar. She also routinely writes a legal column for the Lynn Haven Ledger in order to share important legal information with the community.
