Guardianship

A guardianship allows for someone (the guardian) to act as a proxy in making decisions for another (the ward), usually regarding healthcare or financial issues. Guardianships can be used to protect those adults who are mentally or physically incapable of making or implementing decisions for themselves. They can also apply to children. There are different types of guardianships depending on the needs of the ward.

The legal relationship between a ward and a guardian is one of great responsibility. If you are planning on arranging a guardianship for yourself or a loved one, our Reed Law attorneys can help. Call us at 850-250-4260 or contact us online.
